Effective Date: January 1, 2026
By accessing or using the website at clintoninsulation.com (the "Site") or by engaging Clinton Insulation ("we," "our," or "us") to perform insulation or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Site or engage our services.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Clinton Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation installation, removal, and related services including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, air sealing, and vapor barrier installation. Services are performed at customer properties in our service area, primarily in eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois.
We reserve the right to decline any project request at our discretion. Service availability, pricing, and scheduling are subject to change without notice.
All written estimates provided by Clinton Insulation are based on an in-person or remote assessment of the project scope. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted. An estimate is not a guarantee of final price - the final price may differ if conditions discovered during the work differ materially from what was assessed.
If the scope of work changes after an estimate is accepted, we will notify you before proceeding with additional work. No additional work beyond the original scope will be performed without your authorization. All pricing is quoted in U.S. dollars.
Project dates are confirmed when a written estimate is accepted and any required deposit is received. We will make reasonable efforts to complete work on the scheduled date. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as early as possible if a rescheduling is necessary.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled work date. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid, depending on project size and materials ordered. We will communicate any such policy clearly at the time of booking.
Payment terms will be stated in writing on your project estimate or contract. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment in full is due upon completion of the work. For larger projects, we may require a deposit prior to scheduling. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of estimate.
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late payment fee as permitted by Iowa law. Clinton Insulation reserves the right to pursue collection of unpaid balances through lawful means, including but not limited to filing a mechanic lien on the property where services were performed.
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you have concerns about workmanship within a reasonable period following project completion, contact us and we will address them promptly. Specific warranty terms, if any, will be stated in your written project contract.
Except as expressly stated in a written contract, services are provided "as is" without additional warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that insulation work will eliminate all energy costs, prevent all moisture intrusion, or achieve any specific energy savings figure. Results vary depending on home conditions, climate, and other factors outside our control.
The Site and its content are provided "as is" for informational purposes only. Information on the Site does not constitute professional engineering, building, or legal advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clinton Insulation and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our services or the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim related to services performed shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full.
You agree to provide accurate information when requesting an estimate or submitting a contact form. You are responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible on the scheduled project date, that any required permits or HOA approvals have been obtained (unless we have agreed in writing to handle permitting), and that utilities or hazards in the work area have been disclosed to us in advance.
You agree to keep people and pets out of the work area as directed during and immediately after the project, including any re-entry waiting period required after spray foam installation.

If a dispute arises between you and Clinton Insulation related to our services or these terms, we encourage you to contact us directly first so we have the opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Most concerns can be resolved with a phone call or email.
If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with arbitration conducted in Clinton, IA. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Clinton, Iowa.
